Watch the Video: Beware of overselling... Why shouldn't I go for that unlimited plan?

Truth in Hosting... ViUX™ has a strict "No Overselling" Policy. ViUX™ does not resell (thus oversell) the same Disk Space, E-mail Accounts, etc... over and over again to countless customers in hopes that most of them will never come anywhere near to using the full amount of resources that they have been promised (sold). Sadly, most Hosting Providers engage in this dishonest and disrespectful practice; and many more are fast adopting the same, because they feel that they must do so in order to compete with those that already have.

Because we believe in "Truth in Hosting", you will not see any ViUX™ Shared Plans offering "Unlimited" Disk Space, or even: 100 GB of Disk Space; 1,000 E-mail Accounts; etc... all for less than $5 per month!?!

We would consider such an offering to be dishonest, because resource quantities of those levels would cost far more than $5 to provide without engaging in massive overselling of those same resources to a large group of unsuspecting customers. It is for this reason that we also consider overselling to be disrespectful to customers.

Each Shared Hosting Server (SHS) Plan is licensed for a certain number of "Plesk Domains"; which is the number of primary Websites (excludes Domain Pointers or Sub-Domains) that are supported by the hosting plan. If needed, additional Plesk Domains can be purchased as an add-on during the order process, or later from within the control panel.

The amount of monthly Traffic (i.e. Data Transfer / Bandwidth) supported for all sites hosted within the subscription. Every visitor to your Website(s) and every e-mail that you send uses some amount of Data Transfer / Bandwidth to download each page to the visitor's computer or to deliver each e-mail sent. ViUX™ provides "Unlimited" Traffic for our Shared Cloud customers, which means that we do not impose any limits on the amount of Traffic your site(s) can use; however please note that there is a practical limit to the total amount of simultaneous data that can be handled by a Shared Cloud Server's NIC Card as generated by (X) number of sites sharing that server. Therefore if you are certain that your Website(s) will have high traffic needs, we highly recommend going with a VPS / Private Cloud Server or Dynamic Dedicated Server.

The amount of "Disk Space" (i.e. Storage) supported for all sites hosted within the plan. Every file / folder / database / e-mail that relates to and/or makes up your Website(s) uses a certain amount of space on the server's disks based upon the size and number of such files. This is a measure of the total Disk Space provided by the Hosting plan. Also included in this would be your log files, databases, e-mails, etc... or all Disk Space being used by your account on our system in total.

The number of distinct E-mail Addresses (i.e. E-mail Accounts) supported for all sites hosted within the plan. You would want to select the hosting plan that provides enough E-mail Accounts to cover the number of people within your organization(s) and/or your intended use of E-mail for each domain.

The number of MySQL Databases supported for all sites hosted within the plan. If needed, additional MySQL Databases can be purchased as an add-on during the order process, or later from within the control panel.

The number of MS-SQL Databases supported for all sites hosted within the plan. If needed, additional MS-SQL Databases can be purchased as an add-on during the order process, or later from within the control panel.

SmarterMail™ Enterprise Edition is included as a standard feature of ViUX™ Shared Hosting Server (SHS) plans (Windows™ OS only). The Enterprise Edition of SmarterMail™ provides advanced collaboration and groupware features, such as those of Microsoft Exchange™, including: Shared Contacts, Calendars, Tasks, Notes, & E-mail Folders - with Synchronization to Smartphones, Pocket PC, & Microsoft Outlook™. SmarterMail also includes full support for the standard e-mail server features of: SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, WebMail, etc. - with industry leading Anti-Spam & Anti-Virus.

The Windows® version of the plan provides support for all standard Windows® Application Scripting, such as: HTML (.htm); ASP (.asp); ASP.NET (.aspx); Perl (.pl / .cgi); PHP (.php); etc... but does NOT include ColdFusion® (.cfm) support.

The Windows® with ColdFusion® 9 version of the plan is enhanced to include Adobe® ColdFusion® 9 Application Server. This plan supports all standard Windows® Application Scripting, such as: HTML (.htm); ASP (.asp); ASP.NET (.aspx); Perl (.pl / .cgi); PHP (.php); etc... and also includes support for ColdFusion® 9 (.cfm).

The Linux® version of the plan is for those that require Linux® (CentOS), Apache, MySQL, and PHP (aka "LAMP"). This plan supports all standard Linux® Application Scripting, such as: HTML (.htm); Perl (.pl / .cgi); PHP (.php); etc... However for those needing: ASP.NET (.aspx) or ColdFusion® (.cfm) – you should select the appropriate Windows® version of the plan.

The number of independent Websites...

For a Plesk [Domain] subscription, resources are handled as a single large pool, with each Website having equal access to all resources provided by the subscription; and all sites are managed by a single control panel login.

For a Plesk [Client] subscription, specific resource amounts must be allocated to each Website; and each site can have separate control panel login(s).
