Does your Domain Name still use our legacy DNS Name Servers (ns1.viuxhosting.com / ns2.viuxhosting.com / ns1.webhosting-dns.com / ns2.webhosting-dns.com)? If so, please read the notice below; however if your Domain Name is using our new DNS Name Servers (ns1.viux.com / ns2.viux.com / ns1vps-dns.com / ns2.vps-dns.com), then you may disregard this notice. The following notice likely applies only to ViUX™ customers from before December 2006.

ViUX™ will be updating our legacy DNS Name Servers (ns1/ns2.viuxhosting.com & ns1/ns2.webhosting-dns.com). This action will include switching control of these Name Servers away from "Simple DNS Plus" software running on Windows Servers, to "Bind DNS" software running on Linux Servers, as well as, a related change of IP Address for each of the four Name Servers.
This will take place in two parts, with (ns1.viuxhosting.com & ns1.webhosting-dns.com) being updated first; and (ns2.viuxhosting.com & ns2.webhostng-dns.com) being updated a few days later. This will allow time for customers still using the legacy Name Servers to report any DNS related problems encountered; although we anticipate a smooth transition.
The benefit of this is that customers still using the legacy Name Servers will be able to manage their DNS Zone within the Parallels Business Automation - Standard (PBAS) Control Panel, at: https://hsp.viux.com/cp/; via the [System] tab and [All My Domains] link in the "Domain Management" section on the left side of the page.
For customers that have standard DNS settings, there should be no need to take any action; however if your Domain(s) use non-standard DNS settings on the legacy DNS Name Servers, some action may be required on your part. This would include customers with special or remote E-mail Servers, or those that make use of other Domain services hosted external to the ViUX™ Network.
If so, please login to your control panel at: https://hsp.viux.com/cp/, select the [System] tab, and then select the [All My Domains] link in the "Domain Management" section on the left side of the page. Select your Domain Name on the resulting page, and then click the [DNS Zone] tab. At this location please confirm that your DNS Zone settings are present, and make any needed additions or corrections.
