Today ViUX joins Parallels in announcing the release of Parallels Small Business Panel 10 as an additional Control Panel option for our Virtual Private Server (VPS) and Dedicated Server customers. Previously ViUX offered only Parallels Plesk Panel (v9.2.0.1) with our VPS and Dedicated Server subscriptions; however we are now pleased to be able to add Parallels Small Business Panel (v10) as an option to benefit our small business customers.

As suggested by the name, Parallels Small Business Panel is designed specifically to meet the needs of small businesses, offering simple wizards and productivity tools for collaboration, file sharing and business management. This makes self-service possible for all employees using the solution. Parallels Small Business Panel also allows us to include the ViUX Marketplace, which offers commercial applications to small business customers in an easy-to-use storefront.

Parallels Small Business Panel gives users an intuitive interface designed to connect employees to the right applications, which can be installed with a single click with no need for special training or technical knowledge. Role-based access enables organizations to restrict functionality as appropriate for their employees.  In addition, Parallels Small Business Panel incorporates the functionality of additional Parallels solutions for FREE... including Parallels SiteBuilder and Parallels Power Pack.

The ViUX Marketplace enabled within Parallels Small Business Panel launches with six commercial applications, including: Symantec (Desktop Security); Interspire (E-mail Marketing & Knowledge Manager); Pinnacle Cart (Shopping Cart); LinuxMagic (Anti-Spam); and KeepIt (Online Backup). The ViUX Marketplace takes care of the ordering, licensing, billing, and subscription management aspects of all applications offered within.

When ordering a VPS or Dedicated Server subscription from customers will be able to choose from either the original Parallels Plesk Panel (best for Server Administrators & Resellers), which is licensed by the number of domains to be hosted on the server; or the new Parallels Small Business Panel, which is licensed by the number of users. The selected Control Panel will be auto-installed and licensed as selected, and ready for use within minutes.
