Are you ready for some football!?!
If you are anything like me, your least favorite months of the year are those between January (end of NFL season) and September (start of NFL season). If it were not for College Basketball in March / April and the NBA playoffs in May / June, there would be NO worthwhile sports to watch during these months. FYI… I do not watch the NBA before May, because the first 41 (or so) games of the NBA season do not matter anyway! Also, I refuse to spend my time watching any sport where the end score is not likely to be in double figures, so that rules out Baseball and Soccer for me.
Well, September is right around the corner, so we are about to emerge from the "dull" sporting months of the year… and the ViUX Fantasy Football League (espn.com) is about to get underway again! This year we have decided to open up the competition to include our customers, so we are Calling all Football Fans to Join the ViUX Fantasy Football League!
Interested? If you are a Football Fan, with prior Fantasy Football experience, have “free time” enough to actively play your team each week, and have fun trash talking... then please Contact our Sales Dept. to request entry into our league. Kevin or I will reply with details on how to join. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the league winner, as well as, to other participants for various (good and bad) “achievements” throughout the season.
The league live draft is currently scheduled to take place on Friday 8/15/08 at 6 PM EST; however this date/time may be adjusted once all team slots have been filled and we get an idea of when everyone (or most people) will be available.
This has proven to be great fun in years past, and it should be even more so with some of our valued customers able to join us in this friendly competition.
