SmarterMail 9.x Enterprise is one of the only mail servers (including Microsoft Exchange) to support Exchange Web Services (EWS). EWS is Microsoft’s new technology allowing Microsoft Outlook to connect natively and seamlessly with a mail server.
As an authorized reseller of SmarterMail as either a monthly lease or purchase, ViUX has now added the option for Exchange Web Services (EWS) to our automated order process for SmarterMail 9 licenses at: smartermail.viux.com. The cost for EWS (1-Server) on a leased SmarterMail Enterprise license is only $15 per month; or $134.10 (after 10% Discount) on a purchased license.
Currently, Apple Mail supports EWS, as do Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac and Microsoft Outlook 2012 for Windows. EWS is intended to replace the old and antiquated MAPI technology, allowing for much faster communication and access to the latest technologies, and joins the existing methods already provided for connecting Microsoft Outlook and SmarterMail together!
Contact ViUX at: sales@viux.com – if you have an existing SmarterMail Enterprise license to which you wish to add support for EWS. Or you may now select the EWS add-on option when placing a new order for SmarterMail Enterprise at: smartermail.viux.com.
